Normally our Crow Chronicle is totally related to Stone the Crows Festival.
This edition I am taking the liberty of asking for help from our flock. We all have been horrified by the fires throughout our country this last year and for our township of Kinglake it is particularly an issue. We were on the receiving end of so, so much help post Black Saturday, we want to repay some of that assistance.
Our Rotary Club has in the last 24 hours organised a truckload of recently cut round hay bales to send to Corryong.
Many of our flock have been to the Man from Snowy River re-enactment at Corryong on the way to or from our Festival and the devastation in that area is horrendous.
Many people have already donated through various channels, but if you haven’t and if you would like to help my Rotary Club help the Rotary Club of Corryong with feed for horses, cattle and other animals, here are the details. No obligation but every cent will go where it is needed – no administration or other costs incurred. The Piggy by the way is the Bendigo Bank Piggy Money Bank.
Thanks in advance – please stay safe and keep out of fire areas.
Chrissy
