Bill Daglish grew up singing at Scottish social events with his mother, father and brother around his hometown of Newcastle upon Tyne in Northern England.
After migrating to Australia in 1964, he kept singing and entering talent quests, but was also rather busy raising a family and working as a plasterer, truck driver, printer, office manager, chemical plant operator and warehouse supervisor.
When Bill and second wife Lyn purchased a motorhome and began traveling Victoria, he started singing again, entertaining the Grey Nomads at rallies.
After some encouragement from Jim and Grant at the first Stone The Crows Festival he recorded an album at Flying Fox. His second album, Memories From The Past, was launched at last year’s festival.
